As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors entering the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and offering assistance to individuals at access points.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for irregularities and/or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to established protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
