About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in WALDRON, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage production location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the facility in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and answering questions related to entry requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, irregularities, and observations as required by site procedures.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment at the location.
