As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist Full-Time in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, assisting with entry protocols, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and site-specific protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
Work closely with property management and/or building staff to maintain a secure environment for tenants and visitors.
Follow emergency response protocols as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific procedures.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report maintenance hazards or other concerns to the appropriate personnel.
