About The Position

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, adapting to the requirements of a food and beverage production environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
