As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
This position is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow protocols specific to the food and beverage environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
