As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors only.
Assist with security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access control and site navigation.
Collaborate with facility management and emergency services as needed during incidents or drills.
