As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at the location by conducting screening procedures and monitoring access points. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals entering the facility. You will use your observation skills and experience to manage entry protocols, support team operations, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
