Your role includes interacting with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting loss prevention efforts. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and screen individuals entering the location, following established security-related procedures and site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service while conducting security-related screening activities for visitors, staff, and/or customers.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter theft and/or policy violations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity according to site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
