Your role includes interacting with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting loss prevention efforts. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and screen individuals entering the location, following established security-related procedures and site-specific protocols.
  • Provide customer service while conducting security-related screening activities for visitors, staff, and/or customers.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter theft and/or policy violations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
