As a Security Officer - Access Control Retail Full-Time in Front Royal, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures and Allied Universal guidelines for the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities within the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and report any unusual conditions.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related concerns as they arise.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing directions to emergency personnel.
