Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and supporting a secure and welcoming environment for all personnel and visitors. Requirements

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the chemical or petrochemical facility, verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel and vehicles.
Follow site-specific security-related procedures and policies to support the protection of people, property, and information.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence at access control points.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with facility staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment in accordance with client and site expectations.
