Requirements

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at a tech, media, or telecom location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors with directions or site-specific information.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and security-related activities as required by site policies.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures, adapting to the unique needs of a technology, media, or telecom environment.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding any security-related issues or emergencies.
