As an Access Control Officer at a major food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct patrols, and help to deter potential security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors according to site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and following site policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or hazards observed during assigned shifts.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain detailed logs and records of access control activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment within the food and beverage location.
