As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in La Habra, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and supporting a culture of trust through outstanding customer service and clear communication. By remaining visible and attentive, you will help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control and monitor access to the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit.
Verify credentials and conduct identification checks for individuals entering and/or leaving the location.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by executing security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the logistics and distribution environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related risks.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities as required by site protocols.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
