As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and verifying credentials. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
Maintain accurate logs of visitor and contractor activity as required by site-specific policies.
Assist in customer service functions by answering questions and providing directions to visitors and employees as needed.
Respond calmly to incidents and security-related situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct both regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify any irregularities.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to communicate observed security-related issues or concerns.
Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols to maintain the integrity of access control at the location.
