As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry and exit points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and adhere to site-specific policies relevant to logistics and distribution environments.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the warehouse and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.
