As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to support a secure atmosphere. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and drivers with site-specific policies and procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related issues.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Report suspicious activities and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal and/or the client site.
Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and patrols as required.
Work collaboratively with site management and Allied Universal colleagues to support security-related needs at the logistics and distribution location.
