Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control duties, verifying the credentials of guests, staff, and vendors entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by communicating clearly and courteously with guests and personnel while adhering to site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the hotels and resorts in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity.
Monitor entry and exit points, utilizing electronic systems and/or physical checks as required by site protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all guests and personnel.
