As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while remaining visible and responsive to the needs of employees and visitors. This is a driving post. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or observed hazards during shifts.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist in the implementation of emergency response procedures as required by site-specific policies.
