As an Access Control Security Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, greet employees and visitors, and support a smooth check-in process. You will monitor activity, document incidents, communicate with onsite teams, and help to deter security-related concerns through a visible, professional presence. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to onsite employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at facility entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and coordinating access approvals with site contacts.
• Monitor and respond to alarms, access control system notifications, and camera activity, documenting unusual activity and reporting issues according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with medical calls, evacuations, and notifications as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, and perimeter points, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or unsafe conditions.
