Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Gate in CLARKSVILLE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will control access, verify badges and/or visitor credentials, and document activity using a computer or tablet. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, vendors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Control access at entrances, gates, and loading docks by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in, and maintaining logs for vehicles, trailers, and deliveries.
- Monitor cameras and/or alarm systems as assigned, document observations, and communicate unusual conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, provide clear directions during emergency response activities, and complete detailed reports.
