Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors and personnel in accordance with site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
