As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify credentials and provide visitor management services for all individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with security-related inquiries and directions.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, security-related violations, or emergencies according to site protocols.
  • Work in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies, adapting to the unique environment of a logistics and distribution location.
  • Assist in emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
