Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will manage access control for employees, drivers, and visitors, verify credentials, and maintain clear entry and exit logs. You will remain visible at key checkpoints, support routine patrols of assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns with strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, checking credentials, managing visitor and driver logs, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and report unusual activity or policy exceptions to the appropriate site contact and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance, documenting actions taken, and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
