About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Stanton, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in an automotive location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, managing access points, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. This driving post requires you to have a valid driver's license. You'll provide excellent customer service while upholding our values of reliability, agility, and teamwork, making a real difference in creating a welcoming environment for all who visit or work at the site.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures and responding to inquiries from employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Assist with security-related procedures during shift changes, deliveries, and other access events.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any unusual activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
