Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Warrenton, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, support badge and credential checks, complete routine patrols, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Having customer service experience is preferred.
- Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control entry and exit at gates, guard shacks, and/or reception points by checking identification, verifying credentials and work authorization, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining accurate access logs.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other access control systems; report irregular activity and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or damage at the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting events, and supporting arriving responders per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and the perimeter, and complete required patrol documentation and observations per site procedures.
