As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the commercial real estate location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to support access control protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any security-related concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site policy and Allied Universal standards.
Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as necessary in response to incidents or emergencies.
Provide directions and assistance to tenants, visitors, and contractors as needed.
