About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Auto in Graniteville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and managing entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and vehicles.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting personnel and guests according to site-specific policies.
  • Monitor security-related systems and report any suspicious activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any access control issues encountered during the shift.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for all individuals at the location.
