Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Badge Specialist in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vendors at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by greeting and assisting individuals entering the premises and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter security-related incidents and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities and help to deter security-related risks.
  • Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
