Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Badge Specialist in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vendors at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by greeting and assisting individuals entering the premises and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter security-related incidents and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities and help to deter security-related risks.
Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
