About The Position

HIRING IMMEDIATELY Ardenwoods Retirement Community is hiring! Part- Time Security Guard Friday's: 5pm-11pm Saturday's: 4:30pm-11pm The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting Community property. This position is also responsible for verifying the presence of all employees and third party contractors on the grounds.

Requirements

• Must be able to make decisions quickly and in accordance with established protocol
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• One year experience preferred
• Must be able to pass criminal background and drug test and must have a good driving record

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings
• Respond to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls
• Provides written report of any community incident during the shift
• Maintains entrances in facility for safe passage at all times.
• Shovels and keeps clear exit door walkways when needed.
• Performs light maintenance as time allows (changing light bulbs,etc.)
