Requirements

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with X Ray screening is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for technology and media environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and screening individuals as required for access to sensitive areas.
Document and report observations, incidents, and security-related activities using company systems and procedures.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
Support emergency preparedness and response activities specific to technology, media, or telecom locations as needed.
