Now Interviewing for Full Time Security Officers! Working in conjunction with a Metropolitan Transit Task Force and our client security teams. MetroLink security professionals provide safety and security of riders on the transit light rail system, station platforms throughout the Greater St. Louis region. Customer service skills are a high priority. This is an outdoor posted position. Duties will include post security until relieved. Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces, assisting with access control, visitor interactions, and enforcement of location rules and protocols. Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
