Job Description As a Security Guard - Distribution Entry - Weekdays in Hutchins, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening procedures for individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related policies and procedures, and responding appropriately to inquiries and situations.
Assist in emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and incidents as required by site protocols.
Work collaboratively with site staff and other Allied Universal personnel to support security-related operations at the location.
