As a Security Guard - Utilities Patrol Team in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, interacting with visitors and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including presence of unauthorized persons or property disturbances.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the utility location.
Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner.
