As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy government aviation location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support access control, report and document activity, and deliver a customer-first experience for travelers and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a government aviation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and public partners as required.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, administrative areas, parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorization where required, and manage visitor and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate updates to Allied Universal and client representatives using approved channels.
