As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol dynamic outdoor public spaces supporting utility operations and nearby cultural destinations. You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of outdoor public spaces, nearby pathways, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, damage, or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor utility-related areas and equipment zones for unauthorized access, vandalism, and/or tampering, and report observed issues according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including crowd concerns, disputes, medical calls, and/or lost child reports, and request additional assistance when needed.
• Complete timely reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate updates to site contacts, Allied Universal supervision, and/or responding public services as required.
