Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Roving Patrol in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff with a service-first mindset, communicate clearly, and report concerns promptly. Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
• Respond to alarms, guest concerns, disturbances, and/or medical-related calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing guests and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
