As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms, support access control, document activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior spaces, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policy, and document entries, exits, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, assisting with evacuations, and supporting responding personnel as directed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts, and help maintain a professional presence throughout the location.
