Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, quick problem solving, and professional customer service. Requirements

Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting hazards, and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.
Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorization when required, assist with visitor management, and direct individuals to appropriate departments in a professional manner.
Document routine activity, irregular conditions, and incident details in written reports, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
