About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct unarmed patrols and monitor premises to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves driving responsibilities, allowing you to remain visible throughout the property and respond promptly to situations. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Assist with implementing emergency procedures and responding to alarms or other urgent situations according to established protocols.
