As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining open communication with all personnel. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, controlling access to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
Document observations, incidents, and activities during patrols, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain awareness of potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, following all site-specific guidelines and protocols.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance as needed while on patrol.
