Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • This is primarily a driving post.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual behavior, security-related hazards, or potential threats, and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors within the tech, media, and telecom location.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Support emergency response efforts by providing accurate information and coordinating with local authorities or emergency services as needed.
