As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
  • Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings as required by site procedures.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and/or site staff to support security-related operations in an aerospace and defense environment.
