About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting site operations. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting conditions that may impact operations.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, administrative spaces, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per post orders.
  • Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and coordinate with site representatives and/or local responders as directed.
