As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and provide professional customer service and communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documenting, and communicating updates per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including buildings, testing areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing visitor instructions, and monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems as assigned, complete routine logs and reports, and promptly report maintenance concerns or unusual activity to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
