You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor for unusual activity, potential security-related hazards, and report findings according to established protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment in a tech, media, and telecom setting.
Document and communicate observations, incidents, and/or issues as required by site procedures.
