As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. You will be highly visible, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.   • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to the unique environment of a technology and media workplace.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activities or hazards in accordance with established procedures.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
