About The Position

As a Security Guard - Shopping Center Driver in Mililani, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence while interacting with the public. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling via vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with directions and general information as needed.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and the site supervisor.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site staff to maintain a welcoming environment.
