Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and visible presence. You will monitor assigned areas, manage access control, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while on patrol.
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities using Allied Universal protocols.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and any restricted areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during critical situations at the location.
