Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Roving Patrols in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas at the location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as appropriate.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and client representatives relevant to the location.
Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required.
