As a Security Guard - Secret Clearance Required in Palm Bay, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional communication, and support a secure environment for clients and visitors. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the aerospace and defense location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or behaviors.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
Assist with access control, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while adhering to Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.
Support emergency response protocols and provide assistance during drills and/or actual emergency events as directed by site management or Allied Universal supervisors.
